Viticulture on a family wine-growing estate is always a big \u2018we\u2019. Wine is an integral component of our family\u2019s creative energy as well as of our hometown Gols, an appreciated wine town that is well-known all over the world. Georg Preisinger has been running the winery in the 6th generation since 1998. The experience of his ancestors influences the present, whereas a transition to manual labor and strict selection but also a turn to spirituality (moon phases, Agnihotra technique, observing the annual cycle) have been introduced. Instead of expanding the vineyards to an industrial size, the Preisingers prefer viticulture dominated by concentrated and sustainable handwork with the least amount of technical support (but a lot of time for dedication) which makes great wines possible. \u2018Our wines should unite people in pleasure.\u2019 The assortment includes classic table or house wines as well as premium wines vinified with the utmost care.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator border_width=”2″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”480″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]Liquid time travel<\/strong><\/p>\n

The rocket is our symbol for the opportunities great wines offer: time travel to the year of their creation \u2013 at a high level you can feel a few decades melt on your tongue and your palate. Georg Preisinger\u2019s wines are like liquid journeys through time, whose origins can be found in up to 55-year-old vineyards in the best locations around Gols. Numerous wines from the market town in the north of Burgenland can be found in the best venues and shops all over the world.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator border_width=”2″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_id=”link-klima”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Climate<\/h1>\n

This part of the country is also known as \u2018the sunny district of Austria\u2019. The area has an average temperature of 10 degrees Celsius and an average of about 61 sunny days with temperatures higher than 25 degrees Celsius and therefore is the warmest region in Austria. Ideal conditions, not only for viticulture.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]The influence of Atlantic currents in the area is quite weak; the climate is Pannonian or slightly continental. Instead of the precipitation maximum in the middle of the year, which is quite typical for Central Europe, there are two to three rainy periods in the national park area.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”637″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”1\/2″ el_class=”order-2″][vc_single_image image=”638″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″ el_class=”order-1″][vc_column_text css=””]The summer months are hot and dry, temperatures below 0\u00b0C occur \u2013 if at all \u2013 from October to May while daily temperatures can reach 17 degrees or more even during the rather snow-free winter months. The enormous surface of Lake Neusiedl which is responsible for the special microclimate in the area serves as a heat reservoir.
